Politics is too important to be left to backroom deals, lobbyists and technocrats. We demand real democracy, in which citizens have a say in their future; transparent, fair fearless.

We fight for climate justice

The climate crisis is happening now. Not later. And it does not affect everyone equally. We link ecological sustainability to social solutions. A fair, green transition with investments in public infrastructure, green jobs and energy supply in the hands of citizens.

Our ecological vision

We choose social justice

Everyone has the right to a dignified existence. That means affordable housing, a basic income, good healthcare, fair wages and public services that are not privatised. We are building a society that is not about profit, but about well-being.

Our political vision

We believe in peace and international solidarity

Europe must stop choosing the side of war. We want an independent, peaceful and just foreign policy – no arms for profit, but diplomacy for humanity.

We support those who fight for liberation, not those who oppress.

Radical peace

Why now?

There is a gap between what people need and what politicians deliver. Destructive policies, fear mongering rhetoric, polarisation and economic inequality have us in their grip. The future of our planet and our democracy is at stake.

MERA25 is the answer from people who refuse to accept this situation. We are organising ourselves, taking responsibility and building a political force for all residents of the United Kingdom.
