Everyone has the right to a dignified existence. That means affordable housing, a basic income, good healthcare, fair wages and public services that are accessible and affordable for all. We are building a society that is not about profit, but about well-being.

A just foreign policy

Security for all: no country is safe unless everyone feels safe.

Europe must stop choosing wars. We want an independent, peaceful and just foreign policy – no arms for profit, but diplomacy for humanity. We support those who fight for liberation, not those who oppress..

Migration with dignity

The Netherlands can and must opt for a fair, humane and supportive refugee policy with structural, small-scale reception facilities in all municipalities, supported by central government. Accelerated procedures, with respect for legal certainty and human rights. An end to deals with repressive regimes such as Tunisia and Turkey. Investment in integration, education, language and work – so that people here do not have to stand still, but are allowed to build a new life. A European asylum policy based on solidarity, in which countries work together instead of shifting responsibility.

A strong democracy

Politics is too important to be left to backroom deals, lobbyists and technocrats. We demand real democracy, in which citizens have a say in their future; a democracy that is transparent, fair and fearless.
